Simon Cowell has given a rare look into his private life as he shared sweet images with his son Eric.
Simon, 65, is rather private when it comes to his family life with his partner Lauren Silverman, 47, and their 11-year-old son Eric.
However, taking a break from tradition, the music mogul decided to share a few sweet snaps of his family life as he appeared to spend time with his family in a park.
Eric could be seen in the snaps with a dog between his knees, in his father’s arms, and with both of them playing with the large dog with his tongue hanging out of his mouth.
Both wore navy active wear and trainers and looked to be in high spirits.Simon captioned the images: ‘1. Love, 2. Even more love, 3. It was a long walk.’
This was a rare change from Simon, who rarely comments on his family life and shares infrequent images of his son and partner.
Simon and Lauren allegedly began dating in 2013. In July 2013 Lauren’s husband at the time, Andrew Silverman, who was also friends with Simon, filed for a divorce, claiming his wife had had an affair with Lauren.
In February 2014, the couple welcomed their son named Eric and they later confirmed their engagement in January 2022.
In 2024, Simon’s famous ex and friend Sinitta claimed that Simon and Lauren had wed in secret. It is thought that the pair are now officially married, but they have never confirmed their marriage status.
Images of this sweet family outing come just days after Simon admitted that he still has fears about money despite being worth millions.
Despite going from success to success with the shows The X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent, and American Idol, he told the How To Fail podcast with Elizabeth Day: ‘I always worry about money’.
When told by Elizabeth that his estimated net worth was around £500 million, he denied this figure and said that in reality, he was ‘not even close’ to that figure.
‘Oh God, it’s not that. I’m not even close to that. I’m being serious. I’m not.
‘I’ve made a lot, I’m not going to lie. I’ve made a bit of money, yes, but not that much, no.’
In the same podcast interview, he also revealed he considered taking a huge sum to judge a couple having sex.
‘One time — this is a true story — I was in a restaurant and this guy comes up to me and he said, “I love your show”, Thank you very much. “Will you take a picture?” Sure. “This is my wife.” Nice to meet you.’
At this point, Simon said the conversation became a lot more intimate with the couple offering him an indecent proposal, asking the infamously cutting judge to assess their sex life in person.
‘I went, are you winding me up?’ he continued. ‘And they said, “No, we’ll pay you.” Well, how much? And it was actually a lot of money. And I thought, do I? No, I just can’t do it.’
