Simon Cowell<\/a> admitted to almost accepting $150,000 (\u00a3113,000) to judge a couple having sex.<\/p>\n

The X Factor<\/a> judge, 65, recently shared that he still worries about money<\/a> and rubbished his estimated net worth.<\/p>\n

One way he could have raked in extra cash in the past is with this bizarre proposal, which he opened up about on the How To Fail with Elizabeth Day<\/a> podcast<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Despite how outrageous the request was, the Pop Idol<\/a> icon said he almost accepted it.<\/p>\n

\u2018One time \u2014 this is a true story \u2014 I was in a restaurant and this guy comes up to me and he said, \u201cI love your show\u201d, Thank you very much. \u201cWill you take a picture?\u201d Sure. \u201cThis is my wife.\u201d Nice to meet you.\u2019<\/p>\n

At this point, Simon said the conversation became a lot more intimate with the couple offering him an indecent proposal, asking the infamously cutting judge to assess their sex life in person.<\/p>\n

\u2018I went, are you winding me up?\u2019 he continued. \u2018And they said, \u201cNo, we\u2019ll pay you.\u201d Well, how much? And it was actually a lot of money. And I thought, do I? No, I just can\u2019t do it.\u2019<\/p>\n

When asked how much the couple offered, he claimed they were set to pay him $150,000.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the episode, the Britain\u2019s Got Talent<\/a> judge opened up about his concerns over his earnings over the years.<\/p>\n

\u2018I always worry about money because I think you have to in a way. You think about Covid as an example. No one could have predicted Covid.<\/p>\n

\u2018I remember reading it for the first time on a website, and I don\u2019t read a lot of stuff on social media, but I\u2019d heard about it, so I was curious.<\/p>\n

\u2018Second day, the story got bigger to a point where I actually phoned my partner and I said \u201cI don\u2019t like the look of this, I have a horrible feeling it\u2019s going to be like that movie Contagion, and I think we need to get all of our shows into production around the world quicker this year\u201d. And we did.<\/p>\n

than I could have imagined.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018When you think about that, the wars, and everything else, the instability, what is safe? Is it gold, cash, stocks? I don\u2019t think anything\u2019s safe any longer. I guess your house.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Someone did actually say to me once \u2013 thank god \u2013 \u201clive in your money\u201d. And it was really good advice, i.e, enjoy it, and be happy with it, but understand that the world is precarious.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>When told by Elizabeth that his estimated net worth was around \u00a3500 million, he denied this figure and said that in reality, he was \u2018not even close\u2019 to that amount.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Oh God, it\u2019s not that. I\u2019m not even close to that. I\u2019m being serious. I\u2019m not.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018I\u2019ve made a lot, I\u2019m not going to lie.
