Amber Heard<\/a> has surprised fans by announcing that she has become a mother to twins.<\/p>\n

She had already revealed that she was pregnant in December but did not share the sex of her baby or that she was having twins.<\/p>\n

The 39-year-old actress took to social media<\/a> with the news of her little ones\u2019 arrivals on Mother\u2019s Day<\/a> in the US<\/a>, uploading a cute photo of their tiny feet.<\/p>\n

Her caption to her 5.1million followers read: \u2018Mother\u2019s Day 2025 will be one I\u2019ll never forget. This year I am elated beyond words to celebrate the completion of the family I\u2019ve strived to build for years. Today I officially share the news that I welcomed twins into the Heard gang.\u2019<\/p>\n

She confirmed that she\u2019s welcomed a daughter named Agnes and a son called Ocean, joking that they are keeping her \u2018hands full\u2019 as well as her heart.<\/p>\n

\u2018When I had my first baby girl Oonagh four years ago, my world changed forever,\u2019 she said, having welcomed her first child via surrogacy in 2021.<\/p>\n

\u2018I thought I couldn\u2019t possibly burst with more joy,\u2019 Amber continued. \u2018Well, now I am bursting times three!!!\u2019<\/p>\n

She added sweetly: \u2018Becoming a mother by myself and on my own terms despite my own fertility challenges has been the most humbling experience of my life.<\/p>\n

\u2018I am eternally grateful that I was able to choose this responsibly and thoughtfully.\u2019<\/p>\n

Heard, who was previously in a high-profile relationship with Johnny Depp, concluded: \u2018To all the moms, wherever you are today and however you got here, my dream family and I are celebrating with you. Love always,

Heard opted not to speak publicly about her pregnancy while she was expecting. She also hasn\u2019t shared any details of who her twins\u2019 father is.<\/p>\n

Offering further insight into her latest arrival, a representative told People<\/a>: \u2018Amber is delighted to welcome the twins and complete her family.<\/p>\n

\u2018Mama and babies are enjoying every minute. And Oonagh is happily running the show.\u2019<\/p>\n

When her pregnancy was announced late last year, it was also her spokesperson who did so via a statement to People<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u2018It is still quite early in the pregnancy, so you will appreciate that we do not want to go into much detail at this stage,\u2019 it read.<\/p>\n

\u2018Suffice to say that Amber is delighted both for herself and Oonagh Paige.\u2019<\/p>\n

Oonagh\u2019s birth was also confirmed with an online post in July 2021, with Heard writing at the time: \u2018I\u2019m so excited to share this news with you. Four years ago, I decided I wanted to have a child. I wanted to do it on my own terms. I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way. <\/p>\n

\u2018I hope we arrive at a point in which it\u2019s normalised to not want a ring in order to have a crib.\u2019<\/p>\n

She continued: \u2018A part of me wants to uphold that my private life is none of anyone\u2019s business. I also get that the nature of my job compels me to take control of this.<\/p>\n

\u2018My daughter was born on April 8, 2021. Her name is Oonagh Paige Heard. She\u2019s the beginning of the rest of my life.\u2019<\/p>\n

The Aquaman star has retreated from the spotlight in recent years and keeps a lower profile these days following her explosive defamation trial<\/a>\u00a0with ex-husband Depp.<\/p>\n

Heard and Depp, 61, were\u00a0married from 2015 to 2017<\/a>, and then, in 2022, they headed to court, with a jury asked to determine whether Heard\u00a0had defamed her ex<\/a> in a Washington Post op-ed written in 2018.<\/p>\n

In the article,\u00a0the movie star\u00a0discussed experiencing domestic abuse but didn\u2019t name Depp explicitly.<\/p>\n

The Pirates of the Caribbean actor won his defamation case in June of that year, having sought millions of dollars in damages<\/a>, for which Heard countersued, after a jury reached a unanimous verdict.<\/p>\n
